Budget Runner: Replacement Garmin 245 Charging Cable
One of our cats has the occasional bad habit of chewing on wires. While William has mostly outgrown this, we like to have backups of important cables on hand just in case he decides to be naughty.
Braided cables somehow aren't as tasty (?) to William, so when I found this braided replacement Garmin 245 charging cable, I knew I had to try it. I put in my order on Amazon on 2/22/23, and the cable arrived within a couple of days using Prime delivery.
I charge my watch on my nightstand, and I used to have to stuff the cable and my charging watch into a pouch to keep William from snacking on the cable. This braided cable is safe from chewy cats, so I don't have to worry about leaving it out, and always ready to use, on my nightstand. I've been using the cable regularly, several times per week, to charge my Garmin since the end of February 2023. It is still holding up great and working as intended in October 2023.
As of this posting, this Garmin 245 cable is just $6.99, making it an affordable option, especially to have as a backup, or a replacement cable.
